What is the refund policy?

Talkspace is committed to offering everyone the best possible experience on our platform with our therapists.

  • Talkspace is platform website that acts as a conduit to arrange professional services and those services are paid to the professional through their Therapist Agreement with Talkspace. Therapist professionals charge clients/Talkspace for time as that time is taken or scheduled to be used, much like other medical professionals. Talkspace refunds requests, therefor require multiple levels of agreement and can only looked at on a case by case basis. Further, refunds for time already used in a subscription or a session are not generally possible. Requests to cancel subscriptions prematurely or cancel pre-paid services are reviewed by the Talkspace in conjunction with the Therapists and accommodations may be made if unique or legal circumstances (medical, death, disability, court orders etc...) dictate the reason for the refund request.
  • If you're not satisfied with a therapist's response, you can request a new therapist by emailing us at team@talkspace.com, free of charge.
